We are deeply saddened by the passing of former TLG President, Ambassador Larry L. Palmer (1949–2021).  A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, he served in the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador, Sierra Leone, South Korea, and President of the Inter-American Foundation (2005-2010). He was appointed United States Ambassador to Honduras (2002–2005), and Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (2012-2016).

In lieu of flowers, Ambassador Palmer's family requests donations be made to the Thursday Luncheon Group's internship program.
